Government agencies all over the world are coming up with plans that will help them to reduce carbon emissions as well as their dependence on fossil fuels in the next few decades. If the world were to follow in their footprints, it would be at least another 100 years before renewable energy became the main source of fuel. Scientists are worried that we are working too slow, so researched from the University of California and Stanford University have devised a plan that will have the world running on renewable energy by the year 2030.
It will not be easy to convince motorists, homeowners and city dwellers to give up some of their favorite modern conveniences in order to help the environment, but several major companies are working on developing products that will help them to make the transition smoother. Electric cars are already on the road, though in small amounts. There are several renewable energy solutions that are great for consumers, but companies that run on large amounts of fuel will need to be addressed. According to these researching, getting away from combustible energy is the key. Several projects are in the works that would help these companies to do business as usual without the need to rely on fossil fuel. Liquid hydrogen, solar energy and even wind turbines can be used to keep up with the energy needs of manufacturing plants, office complexes and apartment complexes. While the government may have to intercede, these scientists are convinced that their long term renewable energy plan will be highly effective.
